BEST TIME TO VISIT
The safari can be enjoyed throughout the year, but the best wildlife-viewing conditions are generally during the dry seasons.
June – October
This is one of the most popular periods for safari. The weather is generally drier and animals are often easier to spot because vegetation is less dense and wildlife gathers around available water sources.
January – February
Another excellent period for wildlife viewing, with generally warm and relatively dry conditions.
March – May
This is part of Kenya's long rainy season. Landscapes become particularly green and beautiful, and there are fewer tourists, but rain can affect road conditions and some activities.
November – December
The short rains can bring green landscapes and excellent photographic conditions. Rainfall can be unpredictable, but safari remains possible.
Mount Kilimanjaro visibility is weather dependent throughout the year.
DAY 1: MALINDI – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
Your safari begins with an early-morning pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Malindi, recommended at approximately 5:00 AM.
Depart Malindi and travel inland toward Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave the coastal region and enter the landscapes of Kenya's famous Tsavo ecosystem.
Arrive at Tsavo West and begin your first game drive. The park is known for its dramatic scenery, volcanic landscapes, lava flows, rocky hills and diverse wildlife.
Keep your camera ready as you search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and numerous bird species.
Continue toward your safari lodge or tented camp for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive exploring Tsavo West. Depending on the itinerary and park conditions, you may visit the Mzima Springs area, famous for its clear spring waters and wildlife surroundings.
Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before departing Tsavo West toward Amboseli National Park.
Travel through the scenic Kenyan countryside toward Amboseli, one of Kenya's most famous wildlife destinations.
Amboseli is particularly renowned for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain.
After entering the Amboseli ecosystem, begin your game drive across the open plains.
Search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, antelopes and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy lunch at your lodge or camp before relaxing.
In the afternoon, continue exploring Amboseli on another game drive. With good weather conditions, you may enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising behind the wildlife-rich plains.
Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early for a final morning game drive in Amboseli.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery and, weather permitting, another opportunity to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro.
Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out.
Depart Amboseli and continue toward Tsavo East National Park.
Arrive in Tsavo East and begin your game drive as you explore one of Kenya's largest protected wildlife areas.
Tsavo East is famous for its distinctive red soil and the elephants that often become covered in the park's red dust.
Look for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.
Continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: TSAVO EAST – MALINDI
Wake up early for your final game drive in Tsavo East.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
After breakfast, begin your journey back toward Malindi.
Continue through the Kenyan countryside with a final opportunity to enjoy the scenery and local communities along the route.
Arrive in Malindi in the afternoon or early evening and receive drop-off at your hotel, resort or preferred accommodation.
